Alban BERRUBÉ
Graduated from the École Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées, with a dual degree in partnership with the École d’Architecture de l’EAVT, Alban Berrubé joined T/E/S/S as a structural engineer in 2018, following an initial professional experience at Newtecnic in London.
His broad expertise, grounded in a multidisciplinary approach combining structural analysis, geometric rationalisation and optimisation, connection and waterproofing detailing, and energy performance calculations, enables him to address projects holistically and to design efficient, high-performance systems.
He was in charge of the anchoring system for the Olympic Rings on the Eiffel Tower for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, developing a pre-stressed clamping system based on friction, designed to preserve the integrity of this historic monument. He has also contributed to the design of the façades of the Beijing National Convention Center, the structural glass roofs of the Dior boutique in Paris and Louis Vuitton in Milan, as well as to the strengthening of the building envelopes of the Guadeloupe University Hospital following an assessment of the impacts of a Category 5 hurricane.
